The fate of any creator is none other than to keep on creating... (and the inventor's is to continue inventing as well as the destroyer has to keep on destroying).

Ricardo Moraga's fate, as a creator of illusions, is to continue to excite and provide reasons so that, through his paintings, we can find our own corner of hope and that necessary shelter that his paintings transmit and the blind faith that he shows when he develops his work.

That faith in himself is what gives him the ability to find the balance between the subtlety of his hand in guiding the passage of the brush on the canvas and the powerful strength of his rusty textures. A brush that leaves almost no trace, but that permeates our minds with the strength of the same feelings that led him to create.

The artist's own words express the emotion with which he pours his artistic passion:

"We are infinite secrets, the path of
time is ticking.
We are textures in the sun, changing and
absolute, eloquent marks
of having been there.
I go back to move forward.
The impending rust out of my hands
drops the light on my feet"

At the artistic Hotel Estela Barcelona from Sitges, he presents his latest collection, which under the suggestive title of "ALIVE NATURES" places us in those scenarios in which Moraga mixes his pure technique with the creativity that inspires him.

Moraga's versatility makes him able to reach consensus sequences of hyper-realism, with strong areas where the corroded rust exacerbates his amazing and spontaneous gestures. In his works, the solvency of reality is contrasted with the unique and evocative abstraction of rusty metals. It would seem that the artist redeems his creative abilities in these areas of disembodied abstraction.

In this exhibition, "Alive Natures", still life fruits and insinuating pleats, give us signs of life, fragile but steady. His own words round these concepts that crystallize in his canvases:

"I find the almost insolent beauty of the fruit,
insulting ways of life.
I have a strange fascination by its indifference and
its secret and disinterested inner light,
I know life is about life..."

The opening will take place on Saturday 27th February at 20:00 h. at the Art Hotel in the Port d'Aiguadolç, with the assistance of the artist.
